Chinese Kung Fu.
Go beyond the spectacle. Explore Chinese martial arts through the places, ideas and people behind them—from Shaolin and Wudang to a personal introduction to Taijiquan.
A journey shaped by your curiosity.
Chinese martial arts are a family of traditions, not a single style. A demonstration, a first lesson and a sustained course offer very different experiences. We begin with your curiosity and experience, then connect the learning to a journey that makes geographical sense.
What would you like to explore?
- Watch with cultural context
- Try foundational movements at your own pace
- Discuss a longer learning stay
See the movement. Understand the setting.
A demonstration is a first encounter with rhythm, coordination and discipline. At Dengfeng, place it alongside a temple visit and the history of Shaolin. Performance, religious practice and everyday training are different parts of this world.

Begin with the fundamentals.
A first lesson can focus on posture, balance and a short sequence, with the pace matched to you. Taijiquan can be experienced in more than one city: our Xi’an encounter offers one starting point. Choose a genuine learning opportunity without making ambitious claims about what a short session achieves.

Give the practice more time.
For a longer stay, discuss your previous experience, aims and the amount of daily practice you want. Wudang offers a different cultural setting, connected with Daoist traditions. We confirm the instructor, venue and teaching arrangements before building the surrounding journey; Shaolin and Wudang need separate travel time.
